Finance Summer Student

Mosaic is seeking a Finance Summer Student for the 2025 summer work term from May 5 to August 29 to work out of our Nanaimo office on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Bring your passion and we will provide the training and experiences.  Successful candidates will share their existing knowledge with Mosaic Forest Management staff while gaining valuable on-the-job experience in finance supplemented by coaching from experienced mentors.

Government continuously refines forest stewardship through ongoing improvement of policies, legislation and practices for forest inventory, timber supply planning, allowable annual cut determinations, silviculture, forest health, land-based research, climate change, and forest genetic resource management. Government's goal is to achieve sustainable management of British Columbia's forests.

In addition to a team of permanent staff which includes safety and training personnel, wildfire and fuel management experts, support and administrative staff, the BC Wildfire Service employs approximately 1,600 seasonal personnel each year.
