Introduction to Soil Disturbance

This course is intended for equipment operators and field supervisors involved in logging, site preparation or audit activities. It will review the legal soil disturbance categories and allowable limits. The session will allow participants to practice making and summarizing soil disturbance calls using walk-through procedures. This process may be used by practitioners to assess the risk of allowable limits being exceeded.

Introduction to Silviculture

This course is intended for individuals with little or no stocking and free growing survey experience. This session will prepare participants to assist silviculture surveyors in the completion of silviculture survey contract work. This course will introduce and provide practical exposure regarding basic silviculture survey procedures.

Industrial Mechanic - Foundation

Become an Industrial Mechanic with this foundation program. As a millwright or a machinist, you will maintain, install, and repair stationary industrial equipment in factories, mills, mines, production plants, and recreational facilities. You will be skilled in utilizing lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other equipment to machine parts to accurate dimensions. As a millwright or mechanist, you will work in close association with instrument mechanics, pipefitters, welders, electricians, and heavy equipment mechanics.

Grader Training

Learn the safe and effective operation of the Grader. Throughout the 3 weeks of training, students will receive 50 hours of machine operation shifts as well as online instructional theory.
