Forest Keeper - Marine

The Kwiakah First Nation is seeking Forest Keepers – Marine to help safeguard and strengthen our presence across both the land and waters of our traditional territory from the Kwiakah Centre of Excellence in Phillips Arm.

Fish and Wildlife Assistant

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Fish & Wildlife Program Assistant will assist with the coordination and development of fish & wildlife project-related requirements, internal and external communications, logistics, and project deliverables. Fish & Wildlife Program Assistant will work within a team of fish and wildlife biologists and technicians on projects in watersheds throughout Splatsin te Secwepémc Area of Caretaker Responsibility.

Wildlife Biologist

Established in 2007, Splatsin Development Corporation manages the economic interests of the Splatsin First Nations throughout the Secwepemcúl?ecw (Shuswap). Project Forester

The Yucwmenlúcwu Forestry Department is responsible for full-phase management of various forest
tenures, contributing to an annual harvest of 80,000m³. Our current tenures include a woodlot,
community forest, renewable and non-renewable forest licenses, and forest licenses to cut. As we
continue to grow our forestry operations, we remain committed to sustainable and responsible forest
management consistent with Splatsin’s values.

Silviculture Forester

ocated in the North Thompson valley, at Simpcw Resources Group we provide environmental, management, and operational services while preserving Simpcw culture and heritage with respect towards the environment. Our goals include creating economic growth from the commercial development of natural resources within the Simpcw'ulécw (Simpcw Territory) by being the major contractor and competing for work in both the public and private sectors.
