Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Fish & Wildlife Program Assistant will assist with the coordination and development of fish & wildlife project-related requirements, internal and external communications, logistics, and project deliverables. Fish & Wildlife Program Assistant will work within a team of fish and wildlife biologists and technicians on projects in watersheds throughout Splatsin te Secwepémc Area of Caretaker Responsibility. Assisting with the coordination of project-based team resources, personnel, and communications will be a key function of this position. The Fish & Wildlife Program Assistant will work closely with Environment Department project managers, field technicians, and project support team personnel and alongside contractors and Splatsin Title & Rights Territorial Stewardship personnel occasionally. This position will be primarily office based, with some field-based activities required. This is a career track position, with the successful candidate forming an integral part of Yucwmenlúcwu’s Environment Department
