We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Timber office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Timber Investments Ltd is a family-owned investment holding company.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:  

  • A minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in an equivalent administrative role.  
  • Relevant post-secondary education is an asset.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organization, clear communication, attention to detail and time management skills are essential. 
  • Experience planning and managing events and meetings, preparing and coordinating presentations, and managing calendars is required. 
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.  
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of business and government.
  • Experience in real estate is considered an asset.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

In this role you will:

  • Provide in-office support to executives in a fast-paced environment, including the Chairman, shareholders, as well as the family office and council.
  • Support a variety of business leaders in family, business and government relations.
  • Interact with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and stakeholders. 
  • Network and maintain positive connections across the organization.
  • Contribute to business success.
  • Coordinate quarterly board meetings, information, travel, and corresponding documentation.
