The People Obtaining Workplace Employment Requirements (POWER) program prepares students for entry into trades training and employment. The Millwright Foundation Program consists of 24 weeks of foundation training and a 2 week practicum requirement and will provide the skills required for the student to obtain level 1 technical training. A Millwright is one who dismantles, moves, installs, changes layout, sets-up, repairs, overhauls and maintains all machinery and heavy mechanical equipment, including power shafting, pulleys, conveyors and hoists.

The Land and Water Resources (LWR) Diploma program prepares students to effectively conserve and repair disturbed land and riparian zones, as well as monitor water quality and quantity. The main focus of the program is reclamation of sites disturbed by industrial development and activity, and the regulations of reclaiming such sites as per the BC Oil and Gas Commission and relevant government bodies.

This program consists of Foundation Heavy Mechanical Trades training and Level 1 ITA Apprenticeship Technical Training. There are four mechanical trades paths introduced in this program: Truck and Transport Mechanic (Commercial Transport Vehicle Mechanic), Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Diesel Engine Mechanic, and Transport Trailer Technician.
