We're currently seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will act as a key partner to operational leadership, guiding and executing all areas of human resources including employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, injury management, and employee engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, safety regulations, and company standards
- Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives, including internal posting and apprenticeship selection
- Support workforce planning through weekly scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels and alignment with operational needs
- Conduct workplace investigations related to conduct, complaints, or policy violations
- Maintain HR systems, records, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Support payroll, benefits, and injury management processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- CPHR designation is considered an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, safety regulations, and other related legislation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and ethics
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR software
- Experience in manufacturing or forest industry preferred
SALARY RANGE: We offer a competitive compensation package based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
