As part of the Global OT Cyber security Team the Operational Technology Cyber Security Analyst will be expected to enforce and provide subject matter expertise to ensure that security standards and procedures are applied within the Drax automation environments.
Day to day you’ll…
· Maintain & develop the security monitoring capability within the automation network for the OT Security Operations Centre across Drax’s pellet operations in order to prioritize safety, integrity, availability and confidentiality in accordance with Drax ISMS.
· Perform and assist in relevant upgrades to the SOC environment as well as maintain OT Incident Response capability.
· You’ll perform verification and validation to a defined scope/schedule across OT security stack.
· Provide Assurance of all security stack components identified to ensure operational status on a day-to-day basis is maintained ensuring no degradation to the Eco system.

To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have…
Ideally, you’ll have a cyber security background or understanding of Operational Technology – Control Engineers (SCADA / PLC) will be considered for this role with additional training to be provided.
You’ll need to be able to understand network security technologies and processes including an understanding of current and emerging security threats and an awareness of systems and methods to counter them.
Understanding of legislative issues (Criminal Law, HSE, OSHA, Data Protection, Human Rights, Employment and Equal Opportunities regulations).
You’ll be self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and liaise effectively with professional staff and customers throughout the business.
Applicant must have a valid full driving license and there’s an expectation of 40% travel to Drax's pellet operational assets within the wider North America Geography
