Western Forest Products is currently hiring for Production Labourers at our sites on Vancouver Island, BC! We have multiple positions available at each location.

- Unionized wage rates ranging between $26.40 - $33.35, depending on location;
- Hourly premiums of $0.60/hour on shifts that are outside the recognized day shift;

Shifts: Monday to Friday - a variety of day, afternoon and night shifts (must be willing to work all these shifts).
These positions are considered safety sensitive, all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test (which includes marijuana).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- All employees will start in general labour or cleanup positions, and then progress from there into a variety of roles including machine operators;
- All employees must maintain a safe and clean work area;
- Supporting other areas of the operations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- It would be an asset to have previous experience in a safety-sensitive environment (trades-related or an industrial environment), but not necessary. We will train people without this background if they have the right attitude and want to learn!
- First Aid/WHMIS is an asset – preference is always given to candidates who have OFA 3.
